ZEGIN DOO is the first private company registered for sale and production of medicines in the Republic of Macedonia.
On the initiative of Mr. Blagoj Mehandziski, the company was founded in 1989. It has been in 100% ownership of the founder until 2006, when a foreign capital entered the company with 50% recapitalization. The foreign partner is Milestone from Iceland. Milestone founded a new company called Pharma Investment in Croatia.

The basic activity of the company is internal and external trade with pharmaceuticals, para-pharmaceuticals ; medical accessories; dietetic, macrobiotic and cosmetic products.

ZEGIN started with only one employee. Today, the number of employees is 450 of which 200 have a university degree. 100 of them have a degree in pharmacy and 10 are doctors of medicine. The rest have degrees in economics, law, technology, veterinary medicine and engineering.

In its 19 years of work, ZEGIN DOO continually reaches top results and has continuous development. Today it is one of the most successful companies in the Republic of Macedonia and covers 60% of the pharmaceutical market. As a result of its successful operation, in 2004 ZEGIN DOO implemented the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

The success of the company is due to the good management, the development strategy based on the most modern world achievements in this field as well as the usage of the most modern computer system and appropriate computer programs that cover all work points.
